I love this song!!! The first time I heard the song the teikoushite /doushite part really caught my ear. I googled and of course no one wrote the damn lyrics down so i had to do it myself and then ask for help. and OMG there’s only 300 views on the MV and there’s no comments! it’s so sad because the song is so good. hmm the other link has 5000 views but still tthat’s really low 😦 it says in the description they love UK rock so i guess it sounds like uk rock. just wanted to share a song i like with the lyrics for your japanese larning. there’s no japanese to learn from the lyrics for me but nonetheless i love knowing the lyrics know. I gotta do a wayaku search for snsd’s new songs!!! minus party… that song is iffy and i hope they come out with japanese versions~~ I love the japaneseness of the lyrics when they come out with japanese versions.

I found out about this wonderful YT thing which is monthlymelody월간 윤종신 & 신치림

all i did was look up horan on YT to find it if i didn’t then…
and i only know about horan because she was part of “our night is prettier than my morning“. she’s part of clazziqui but i didn’t know her by name till that song.oh horan’s part of ibadi too.

I think the monthly melody project is interesting because 김그림 who apparently was discovered on the korean takebt show k3 something something. But anyways before I knew that about her I just thought she was just a boring kpop singer who sings ballads or something… her song to me is or to you is so boring. But when I heard her sing the cover song as part of this monthly song project… my impression of her completely changed. her voice was soooooooooooo soft… softer than velvet and god knows what else. I didn’t know she had such a nice voice because she was singing such a shitty shallow kpop ballad song.  It’s so weird what a difference a song makes. Even if the artist doesn’t compose music or writes the lyrics… they still have the ability to understand/digest WONDERFUL works done by the great music makers from the past (and then like perform it and sing it in such an amazing way…. in korean they have the word 편곡 which would mean like conveying/expressing the song but anyways… even if the artist sings shitty kpop songs.. it doesn’t mean they don’t have the ability to understand great past works and be able to express that song in their singing.) ie… for like ALI she’s so good at understanding the songs and then perform it.. because obviously if you don’t understand the song you’re singing a cover of then obviously it’s gonna show. So anyways for her.. I found her album disappointing… it was just boring.. the one that got pulled after she had that whole mess with the girl who got raped in the 90s or something. Even though her performances on immortal song are amazing even though she didn’t write those songs or anything her performance is so gooooooood. in part, she’s paying tribute to her musical pioneers but at the same time her performance is just musically amazing.  I don’t know if she wrote the songs on her album but I would assume it’s sorta personal to her and all that since she’s choosing to sing x song and choosing to put it on the album yet… her performances on immortal song is just so much better. I do love her song rice plate? that song is catchy ❤

Another artist is K. will. So I can enjoy his song I NEED YOU or maybe it should be translated to I NEED YA to make it less formal… for what it is. that song reminds me of this arashi song that was used for hana yori dango because they both involve mad numbers. i don’t know why we have to do so much math while singing… that’s why i like the lyrics to pabo’s song koi no hexagon because they talk about math but in an interesting way… they don’t legit say numbres lol.  But anyways the song I need you is nothing special… it’s pretty typical song. He is good at singing as always. But compared to his stuff on immortal song it’s like nothing. I find it so interesting that they can sing these amazing pieces of music from the past whether they re-make it in some ways or whether it’s similar to the original… yet the stuff they actually sing for their careers is sorta lame.  It just lacks depth because it’s a kpop ballad song… what do you expect. I’m trying to picture an immortal song in 20 or 30 years from now… would the covers that are being kpop peple? kindie people? I really don’t know but……. i’m sure/hoping it wouldn’t be typical/boring kpop ballad/song etc.

as far as the monthly songs are concerned.. I REALLY LOVE most of them .I also LOVED ijung’s ting. I love his high notes or whatever those are.. the song is 8 minutes but i loved every minute of it!

and another reason why i wanted to name this post KINIDE revolution was LUCIA was ON IMMOTRALSONg. and she is totally korean indie. I don’t know if there’s been a kindie artist on immortal song 2 thus far.. as far as I know she’s like the first one?  I was so excited that she was on it. she did a good job. she didn’t win but that’s fine. I was happy that ali knew about her but she was saying she loved epitone project. hmm they’re okay to me. I like a couple of their songs but some or MOST of their stuff is just instrumental but it’s not amazing or anything.

Speaking of not writing or composing the music that you perform. Lately from watching immortal song I don’t feel as much detest from that practice… just because what I just mentioned with the kpop songs. vs. them singing a famous awesome old song. Also there’s music composers and music lyricists who aren’t good at singing but are really good at what they do.

It reminded me of this  re: video to  KIDS REACT TO KPOP. some snsd fan.. white guy in a pink shirt was like responding to it. he said oh the kids reacted as anyone would if they found out their favorite artists don’t write or compose of their OWN  music.

So I’m just posting it cause I love this song. I’ve listened to it countlessly in the past. I love it but I never looked up the lyrics. there’s parts where i can’t catch what he’s saying and all that but I didn’t really care to look it up b..c at that time I was very focused on learning japanese. I just naturally feel more interested/invested looking up Japanese crap than korean crap with just the situation i was in and rikai-chan etc etc.

There’s a bunch more korean songs I’ve fallen in love with recently but I don’t know the song title nor the singer since my mp3 player screen is dead. I just know I like those songs a lot so I guess i’ll learn what that song is if i ever come across the song on my computer or my screen gets fixed. but anyways i’m just gonna post KARASU’s new song which is… disappointing. I still like it though . basically all the people commenting are like OMG he’s not screaming this time. I too love his screaming but I feel like either way people are gonna say OMG this shit is getting old/tiring OR oh he’s not doing that thing like he did before. I love his voice. he is good at singing.  I have no idea if this drama is good or not. They keep giving their songs to these dramas that air on local television channels? I never heard of them. I sorta wish they would also do a song in akita ben lol or incorporate (like somehow make it sound cool lolz). even if it’s not that, if one day they get big enough to go on some tv show and get interviewed, I hope I get to see them speak akita-ben which is pretty pretty hilarious.  Maybe like sasaki nozomi + karasu interview since they’re both from akita ❤

oh and b.c. of the SNSD on american tv thing I found out about the wonder girls nickelodean  movie and that nick cannon is the president of it now? good for him.

I saw the clip of jyp acting. It’s weird watching him speak english…. it’s like… I don’t know how to explain it. It’s interesting.  I’ve seen him speak english on kpopstar too it’s just fascinating. maybe his persona in general, especially in korean and also in english? so maybe i’ll chck out clips of the movie on youtube cause i’m just curious but i’m sure it’ll be just another cheap nick made for tv movie. I just really like how in the kpopstars sbs thing they ACTUALLY give critique that’s constructive and detailed. they legitimately just explain it very thouroughly why the person sucks balls. I feel like the reason that the contesttsants don’t talk bad  to the judges isn’t just because they’re young, or they’re korean and their culture is blahblahblha, or they want to appeal to the judges with their behavior…. I think it’s really because what the judges say to them is so true and so on point and so constructive… which makes it that much more painful to hear and thus renders person unable to say anything back? no seriously, I wish on americna idol they would explain to the person what was wrong with their singing in a more detailed, thorough explanation so the person feels so humiliated that they get their bubble of obliviousness popped. there seriously were people that were angry because the judges wouldn’t explain to them why their singing was bad. american idol has abdul and randy who are useless as hell. they say either nothing or the same shit over and over or say something about the pitch (um anyone can say that.). It’s just so boring, their words are so empty and they’re just wasting everyone’s time. yeah i know that they have new judges on american idol but i wouldn’t be surprised if their critique is as empty and banal as the previous judges. in this respect, the Korean kpop show is MUCH better. it’s actually stimulating to watch to hear what the people say. I’m not gonna say Simon cowell’s got nothing on JYP or anything since simon says intersting stuff too but if anything ‘i’m sure jyp is more knowledgeable about music and singing as well as critiquing people about that. But in all fairness I do fast-foward the kpop star show if it’s boring, including critiques if it’s like someone I don’t care about.

I also found out that they, the wonder girls, were on the wwendy williams show. I absolutely hate this lady cause she says spoilers of the tv episode of whatever primetime drama, she cuts peoeple off, etc etc.  I just feel bad for all the guests that go on her show.

OH and for some reason I get random peope liking/following me which I think they’re only doing in the hopes that i follow them back or some shit. seriously, the theme of their blog is so… different so i really doubt they actually liked whatever blog entry of mine etc etc. am i being cynical? i dun think so. if anything it’s pretty damn irrelevant to them, no?

And lately, I’ve been thinking about the blandness of tyra’s talk show. just reading applemilk1988 dirt on raspberrysyrup livejournal is so much fun and stimulating because eveyrone’s english is just very rich. then i watch a clip of tyra’s talk show and it just feels so dumbed down and all that. It’s like I thought this show was for americans, not people who are trying to learn english.  there’s a reason people use the word fluent. if you’re fluent in english, you can enjoy english with more rich vocab and seneteces structures and shit like on that LJ I mentioned and shit like tyra banks show is not tolerable. it’s just so boring and unstimulating from the way they speak englsih. it’s like if you only speak english… can you at least speak it more fluently/intersetinginly/fluidly.  Okay, sometimes she has guests that aren’t eduated for whatever reason the topic is ___.

I’m just writing this because I was watching a clip b.c. the topic she had was interesting. I just felt like while I was watching what’s the point? the english used was so boring and it felt like they were just saying things in an unnecessarily long/dragged out fashion etcetc. I just felt like I’m better off reading a book in english that has many words that i don’t know than watch this or read the LJ over (the one I mentioned previously). It just feels like a waste of time. AND this is why I really like watching well-written dramas were i have to consult dictionary/urbandictinoary often lolz or just don’t i guess. I’m literally depending on the american dramas to maintain my fluency in english as far as understanding. Just because, there’s always gonna be new slang and since i now choose to just come in contact with japanese/korean media I have to limit my time (i don’t have any time!) with american/english media to the dramas that are well-written.

So I listened to the song sorry soryr because IU performed her cover on some tv show. and a japanese tv show aired a clip of that TV SHOW. the tv show has NAKATA from oriental radio/rajio who is ALSO on that japanese show called nakayoshi terebi which deals with japan and foreign countries and their differences and ways each country is proud of itself etc etc.

BUT ANYWAYS that’s how I got to IU singing this song and me watching super junior on youtube. I usually have low tolerance for kpop and to be honest I did’nt like the song that much … the version sang by super junior that much till I herad it a couple times.

Because there’s so many guys… members. at certain points in the song I go oh I like that guy’s voice etc etc even though it has that distorted effect on it.  I was thinking while listening to it that’s it’s repetitive which is good for learning.

I just wanted to point out korean you can learn/remember from the song .

so it’s clear what michuh and makhuk unconjugate to right? Then you can look up the unconjugated verb with lingoes or whatever dictinoary you like.

once you conjugate the stuff to ㅕ form you can attach mad crap to it

examples  막혀+ 버리다-> 막혀버리다

in the song they also conjugate   버리다 to 버려 to make it informal and casual and cool lol.

막혀버려

막혀 + 보다 -> 막혀보다 if you want to make it conversational you turn it into 막혀봐

막혀 +  주다 -> 막혀주다and to turn this into conversation/casual  막혀줘

빠져  + 요 -> 빠져요  and now you have polite form just from attaching YO to this form.

there’s definitely more right? it’s like the -te form of japanese… it’s mad useful and basic and songs are definitely helpful remembering the fun way as opposed to grind-grind-cram-

I just felt like pointing out this rule cause it seems like this song would be a really easy way to remember since it’s repetitive and if you happen to like the song too then that’s also helpful, for me the song grew on me lol and I don’t have much to learn from this song… maybe a couple words but I don’t care enough to go through this song lol. singing along with the ㅕ conjugated crap and the english parts is enough for me. lolz.

and FYI I think the stuff in this song caan be used in daily conversatoin if want to say “I can’t breathe or  I’m gonna go crazy or I’m obsessed with you or my eyes are in agony from the bright light (my eyes are blinding)”. korean people do say I’m gonna crazy/i’m gonna go insane frequently in daily conversation though lol (Japanese people dont’ though…) . but they don’t do this conjugation they do 미치겠어 . and remember, just stick on the yo and it’s polite! 미치겠어요.

Example of learning Korean from Korean Music!

Basically I’ll just highlight certain things in the sample songs to show like how you have to unconjugate crap to actually look it up. Little example/tutorial.  It’s like one of the reasons why learning songs from japanese is so frikin’ easy especially compared to korean with the rikai-chan and no worries about conjugating even cause rikai-chan does it for you.

But anyways for the resources like that grammar guide that teaches the conguation + dictionaries REFERENCE the previous entry.

I’m gonna do it all K->J for the example, if you wanna do english well use the english/korean dictionaries.  . I would do K-> K at this point but I haven’t found fast-reliable way to do that… in the end k->J is faster to look up so until I find some nice k->k- I dunn wanna do that.

꿈 만 are 2 different words so you got look up 꿈  and 만 but they’re both really common words  so                 I doubt anyone got all confused because of that.

I believe that luke park did’t cover this on his grammar guide as far as my memory goes but anyways it’s pretty easy to google grammar points and finding explanations at least in japanese.and honestly he explains all the common /useful crap so by the time you get through that i don’t see why you can’t figure it out with google and shit with your knowledge of korean grmamar.

so the last line of the thre lines I posted . 다던 conjugation in 않다던 means 　引用：～だといっていた（過去の継続回想）

子音語幹　-는다던
その他（補助語幹含む）- 다던

which means that the guy “said that”  that’s the 다던 part. so it means that the guy said “내가 예전 같지 않다” actually can’t you think of 다던  as “” marks. does that make the explanation easier?

but it makes sense that she used the one above instead of this becaues the one above has that nuance 過去の継続回想.  回想 means reflection/ reminiscence and 継続 which means continuing.

FYI if you care I tried singing along with it and like for the first couple times it was really heard to pronounce that part 않다던 for some reason just because of the da-dun part AND AND i keep pronouncing it like anata or anta in japanese which is really bad lol. I really am trying to pronounce it correctly but the japanese is just in me  😦 .

OR MAYBE I’m just being over-sensitive because 않다던 sounds like anta and i might be just saying it fine. I can’t help but feel like I’m saying it like anta just because the line is just fast and when it’s fast whatever comes out, comes out. 😦

the japanese really is not good for my korean pronunciation cause japnaese makes me move my mouth less (it’s very minimal especially compared to english/korean.) like i’m prety sure japanese people’s katsuzetsu would be better if they also can speak another language… like the geinin on ame talk for katsuzetsu warui geinin ) and when i try to read korean my mouth won’t open lol because of the damn japanese….  . ii’lll get over it soon enough hopefully but you know i don’t have the shitty american accent or the korean accent with my japanaese (thank god… those accents are annoying like the ZU -namari with the korean people) and I have that intonation shite down! 🙂  AND like I’ve seen foreigners since this song on the korean talent shows and they always fuck up that part and THAT PART ALWAYS SOUNDS like chinese or something. that pisses me off lol. I get it’s hard to pronounce. I experienced it too but if you can’t fix it, please don’t sing it lol. it sounds like chinese. nothing against chinese it s just the pronunciation is just dirty and ruins it.  😦

LIKE THE REASON I sorta gave up on shadowing that I said I was gonna do in the previous post is because the korean actors have really really good enunciation. They talk fast but their pronunciation/enunciation is really good/impeccable too which obviously they are since they only speak korean except for those speakers that also speak awesome english. Basically ,it’s just hard to keep up. well nothing AKATT can’t fix but i mean is very um… disconnected lol which kills the last three letters.. ATT but alas I guess my goal as of now is improving vocab and increasing my ability to conjugate/unconjugate verbs and adjectives and all that stuff in the non-painful way (which means i’m not gonna memorize the conjugation rules. I saw this and I thought of 미웝다 (which conjugates to 미워운 for describing crap while for japanese you don’t even haｖe to conjugate you just put the word next it ie 憎たらしい→憎たらしい人　but then again you have to for -na adjectives but all you do is stick -na. that’s so easy right? ) and I thought oh shit don’t tell me this is some verb conjugation shit but it’s not cause they’re 2 different words (thank you dictinoary)…. I think they’re adjectives. the thing with korean is the adjectives are like verbs so I just want to just call them verbs….

Makino yui’s 3rd album
Her first 2 albums are at least 4/5 stars… you can tell she is going beyond just being a seiyuu. You know there are those cookie-cut-out songs that seiyuu sing that nobody listens to incessently to except for otaku. She is a music student (or maybe WAS at this point.. graduted) and so you could tell that and whatnot on her albums. because of that ONE SONG I give the 3rd album like 1.5/5 stars. it’s really horrid…. I’m doing this because I loved her first 2 albms s omuch and this is a huge disappointment. I know she can do better than this.

this 3rd album is absolutely boring. it stops at seiyuu or something. it’s not enough (i’m sure the anime of the anime songs tha tare included are probably not that goood… judging from the songs cause the songs from NHK were pretty kickass right?). the only song that intrigues is the jazzy song merry go round. then again I listened to it a bunch of times and it’s wearing down…I dled the single to see the difference and i like the album version better. the single version is more cookie-cutter/boring.

edit: Now i’m feeling crepuscular rays too 😉

omgs no wonder I like it. so makino wrote and composed the song and henkyoku which i think means producer is by none other than saitou neko.

Tokyo Jihen  – OkAY IT WAS TOO SOON. It is the worst tokyo jihen album… I personally don’t feel it. Yes it does have sore ha natteiru and onna no ko wa dare demo which are great but like they already released a single for those so i’m sure fans feel ripped off if they bought the single and the album.

I am a… i don’t know what kind of otkyo jihen fan i am but i don’t like the noisy side/screechy side (know what i mean right..

I Like dopmainto. && denki no nai toshi a lot….

Also I figured out that tenkoku e youkoso is in japanese. the other is tenkoku e youkoso is english. I like this song too and I have no idea what genre it is. somebody tell me.

the rest are in english and i like it when shiina sings in japanese…  I mean shiina’ english isn’t bad BAD (when she sang if you kiss-ED me now for onna no ko wa daredemo… tat killed it for me. like it would’ve been near perfection if she just pronounced that as kissed me now… though i couldn’t understand her other english that clearly either… LIke I had to read the japanese subs on the sides in MV to be like oh she’s saying ___) but i just prefer her singing in japnaese cause you know the lyrics are really interestin g but you know her english lyrics are pretty damn good too…. it’s so much better than any mainstream american top 40 song. and she doesn’t even speak english? (right?). The crappy mainstream song that I’m thinking of as i write this is obviously the black eyed peas losers. they’re so lazzy and shitty and talentles and fuckin ruinin music. they make noise 🙂 let’s say let’s do it a million times and it’s gonna be good night a million times. f’in retarded much? . and you know how japanese song lyrics can be really boring.

SCHOOL FOOD PUNISHMENT. alrighty this is BORING> I like RPG and that’s it? and even so that’s a single so i already heard it. I loved them during the indie and I personally felt they hit their peak with that album that had the song KILLER but as of now they are boring as hell and the album before the one released this year had bad lyrics (it was really boring lyrics)… I was listening and i was like wow these lyrics are boring are they 100% jpop now?

I really doubt I like ay song besides RPG but perhaps with more listneing i’ll find other songs I like??

Lamp’s NEWEST ALBUM I love love love love 君が泣くなら。I love the part where the girl sings kiete shimau (that rhytm or whatever or how that rhytm is off? I love THAT). as far as the other songs are concerned i wouldn’t know yet I only heard them once and I hear kimi ga nakuara at least 100 times now. I love it. But I’ll figure out if i like the rest later. EDIT: I did and I do like it. Not sure if i like them as much as i liked the previous albums though.

EDIT: I was in some mood today while iwas listening to the album but for some reason all the songs sounded amazing…. so yes I love LAMP as always!

I LOVE the instrumental/sounds they arranged in the last minute of the song that has the word madobe in it. it’s  A LONG song title. I love it when subtlte crap grabs me

KURIYAMA CHIAKI – CIRCUS I loved the shiina ringo produced songs from the singles. I wasn’t sure if tehre was going to be any songs worth listening to on the album but I loved the first track. The lyrics are interesting and it’s just reallllly goood. It makes me interested in the band that wrote the song for chiaki but I remembe trying that band out before and it was just noisy?

rin to shite shigure– newest album by them. so before I didn’t like them that much before because they were just screamy and all that but then I loved LOVED one song which is f kanshoku. Like it is screamy but it’s nice… I feel it. It was one of those eye-opening moments that wow screamy stuff can be good. I like several songs but one that particularly stands out for me at this point in time is replica this song is PURE catharsis. I don’t know how to explain it but I relaly like it and I hope the band releases new albums in the future.

ALI PROJECT – newest album QUEENDOM is really really boring and tired and all that. I don’t have a single song that I feel. It just feels tired. That’s all. I’m sure I haven’t heard all the tracks yet but I just have a feeling there is none that will resonate with me. but we’ll see. Wait just a minute…. checked out the songs this person recommended and i no longer think what i wrote 🙂

ジルデコ4~ugly Beauty jill decoy association – hmm I LOVE squall. I don’t think I like this album as much as the  other ones. I have to listen more and figure out if there’s any other songs I really like.  and I don’t like it when they sing in english cause i can’t undertand her lol. I also like doresu wo kiru mae ni.

KARASU’s new album hmmm  – kanshou keisei kibun wa ikagadesuka? so far one song sorta stands out to me. couple songs ar eboring. I guess i’ll have to listen to it and find out. Right now there’s one song but I don’t know the title.

EDIT So I got around listening to all the tracks and I must say I like all the songs.I liked kumorinaki watashi the most at first, then i realized the amazingsness that is koko ni aru and haru. and then i gensochou grew on me. lastly, ressha… I skipped this song many many times because I didn’t like the beginning of the song. I listened to it all the finally after I found out this song was used a theme song for some japanese rdama. (it’s not primetime drama though) and it’s actually quite nice but it’s the probably the song I like the least but by all means I LOVE 5 out of 6 songs so this album is like a 5 stars out of 5 or 4.9 out of 5 or something. this is why i feel distraught when i see 5 stars reviews over shit that should not evevn be called music. .;

totally recommend this band to everyone  just because I LOVE ’em and he’s good at singing/screaming and his voice is unique… you know those japanese bands that are typical have those vocalists that voice you don’t really like. Their music composition? whatever you call it is nice and it’s a lot of catharsis with the screaming. I just love how they set up each song with the hook and that other shit. Lyrics are good too. Yeah if you hate those japanese bands that are mad typical and boring espcially with the lyrics ie the major bands ie ikimono gakari! 😦 they sold outttttttttt. but i’m sure they made enough to cover up the suffering they had during the indie days cause i don’t know how much $ people make during the indie days but i’m sure it’s not much. It’s SUCH A SHAME. I finally got to listen to one of their indie albums because people uploaded it after they got popular so in that way i’m glad that they got popular but i’m sad because they’ll nver make anything near that level ever again. for example, karakuri is just amazzing… the emotion and the lyrics are just soo goood. now a days their songs have super boring/recycled feel to them and i don’t feel that much emotion in her voice, the melody is either really predictable throughout the whole song or it’s just so boring I can’t even keep listening. ANYWAYS I noticed that on one of the albums they released after they sold out/jumped the shark etc there actually were good songs like kuchizuke... but I found out that’s because they wrote/released that song on their indie album (maybe their first one?)…. SO I’m just gonna cmpare the two when i get the chance. Im sure the second version, the newer one, is better with the sound quality and the editing or the producing or whatever. but what will be different will be the way she sings like emotion. They also have another amazing song that they redid and somebody wrote somewhere the original is so much version but Idisagree with the person. the original version was not as well as mixed or recorded…. like the instruments are too loud to the point that it’s hard to hear her voice so I like the newer version better but maybe the emotion is better on the first one just because that was before they made it and they were really struggling/working hard.

BIRD- I got 2 of their albums which was like interesting. I only listened to one album but it’s so good and I LOVE the girl’s voice. I espcaally love track 3 which is called sora no hitomi or the other way around. Also love track 2. I hate track 4 because it’s a rap in like english or something.

OFF-TOPIC: immortal song! Sad that hyorin won’t be on anymore but she did a gooood job for her last perfomance. From the way they did it  ithink it’s just hyorin and not the show ending (the season).　i ONLY WACHED comments for the performances that were good as always. you knowthat’s how AKATT works… you do what you LIKE.  from watching the show up to now… I learned a bunch of words (made cards for them) and it was good reviewing the verb conjugation that is in luke park.  It doesn’t take too much effort. I’m just aware of verb conjugations and i just recognize when i see it and then i get more and more familiarized like verbs that have ㄹ have differnt conjugation as opposed to other stuff but when I See it I understand what they’re saying and i see what conjugation they did so… it’s just passive yet not yet passive since I’m being conscious of the fact that they just used a word with r and they conjugated like _. it seems more efficient and less  effort-ending in the long run  as opposed practicing conjugations by myself for no reason except to learn conjugating myself…… sorta like learningt o write hirgana and katakna. you really don’t need to drill this crap. what’s the point? just read. and if you still cna’t write it from just memory after reading a lot then read MORE. by all means stroke order but don’t waste time rdilling to be able to write hiragana/katkaana unless you live in japan and you have to know NOW. cause in the overall look of things. it’s a waste of time… you’re better off dedicating that to reading… like singing along to lyrcs etc etc. it’s mroe fun and efficient right?

Obsessed with ENKA ?

Well you know 2 yrs ago or however long ago I decided to learn Japanese… I never thought I would get into enka. hell I thought i’d never touch a jidai geki drama either. nor did i think i would ever get into manzai. But you know I gots to say enka is some good shit. It takes real talent and I love the kobushi~~~ Another part of enka is all the instruments  and the arrangements are just really well-done.

Anyways I’ll share the enka/enka singers that I really like.

From this video I like the first song alot. Black guy is Jero and little girl is sakura maya. I really think that girl is talented & she’s so CUTE. Just this song is so cute with the two of them. Like the part jero sings kodomo mitai ni wagamama ieru or omae ga totemo kawaii.

sakura maya singing a jpop song. I like her version more b.c. of the kobushi she put in & the no more cry part. i think the original is sang by ayaka. i just realized that’s the girl that mizushima hiro married… then i guess she (ayaka)’s pretty famous actually cause of this song.

so anyways watanabe naomi did ayaka’s song  and at the time i didn’t know that song at the time… Now I totally get it and yes ayaka’s hand movement’s are annoying .  loved the touhoushinki thing. hilarious!!!

ishikawa sayuri!! I love this song… I heard the chinese version too and well it sounds like the same — the way they sing it and everything except it’s in chinese..

ai no mama de by akimoto junko. I actually found about this song b.c. it was ranked high in the top karaoked songs. (ther was some show on that.. the girl from ikimono gakari sang it & it made me more sad that ikimono gakari is dead with the soulless songs)

So on the top karaoked song show the ikimono gakari girl sang it really well like she used some kobushi.. I don’t know where that youtube clip is… probably deletd.

A Japanese Artist (MUSIC) that IS DEAD to me. **私の中では死んでる・終わってるアーティスト

Well you know how it is… they jump the shark (like HEROES after s1 or s2). After a certain song or album, you just now at that moment they sold out and that you’re never going to hear that “artist” ever again. I hate people who say oh you’re only saying that because they went major & main-stream or whatever but honestly… I’m just basing it on the sound or the soullessness of it.

I’ll post links to a song in case you never heard their “real” music and only heard their crap music they released after increase in popularity or whatever.  I wish they would go back to where they are or leave whatever they are right now but honestly… I just think they’re dead. The fame & the money just suffocated the music. We get the most boring, crappy lyrics, and gay songs. It’s just gotten to the point that after some relesae that I downloaded that I deleted shortly after I decided to never download this artist again.  Thta’s what DEAD means to me as far as artists go. If someday they release something with a song title that’s decent I may give them a chance but honestly I really don’t see it.

IKIMONO GAKARI

sidetalk: When I first found out about them with the sakura thing with the indie I was pleasantly surprised. Then I try to delve into Japanese Indie which there isn’t much of ?  So on one of their first 2 albums they had amzing songs and maybe 1 dud or 2 (basically indie GOLD). Like,  here’s AMAZINGNESS from the 1st or 2nd album that I think they’ll never return… probably at this rate with these retarded song titles. I think it started with BLUE BIRD.  IF SO, ever since they did that song to NARUTO they’ve been turning to shit. These songs are so boring and soulless compared to their first 2 albums. the sad part is their 3rd album sold more than the 1st 2 albums combined even (or close to it from the wiki). their 3rd album is so BAD. There’s like only 1 good song which isTHIS (kuchizuuke). and I’m annoyed that the top plays on imeem are the shitty anime songs of theirs when their 1st 2 alubms are so AMAZING> SERIOUSLY download/buy ’em. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED>They made me start saying I like J-indie… well that style.

AND I HOPE TO DEAR GOD that school food punishment doesn’t turn to shit too after they did the ending of the song to that SHITTY ANIME (yes IT IS SHITTY. johnns lol wut. & it’s just so boring after the first ep… hell the first ep is pretty boring too & the characters are just flat). The song they did for that anime is good I think but the single that released for that had this other song that I didn’t care for & it also had this annoying remix of a song they did before.

I looked up and found that Ikimono gakari did do songs for other animes. But i think it’s more like they gave a song on their album as opposed to writing it so it’ll be used on the opening. I don’t know.

OMG I listened to the song higaneshi (linked above) by ikimono gakari & I understand the lyrics well/hear it really well.　in fact i was puzzleｄ by the lyrics at that time　ｌike　大体三日間でひと月の疲れを癒してる… I don’t know, it just looked confusing at the time but now it’s like why was i confused? (actually I decided to add a couple lines of the lyrics to the SRS & trust me I CANNOT do that with their “3rd album songs” those lyrics are just downgrade )  It also seemed to be a lot faster to me then, now it’s like… i wish this song was was faster.  It’s been god knows hwo long since I heard this song … a year or so or maybe less. I love it when I can feel my progress in my japanese studies… AND I never looked up what the band name means and then eventually I connected tabemono and ikimono and ~~gakari/kakarichou etc. hell it’s not really studying anymore… mostly FUN so. AJATT FTW

Gawd she’s terrible now-a-days. All the singles she’s been releasing has been really terrible. I can just judge from the song title. they’re so boring and cliche and juts ugggggggh. I mean technically she wasn’t “alive” at first since her first album was rather bad. I don’t remember there was one good song on it. but the whole album was just boring with the melody, with the lyrics, and especially the english. the english/engrish wasn’t boring but it was really FORCED. That’s why I especially can tell that her new songs suck even before hearing them with the title which is in english… which don’t even sound that cool. Her second album is better and it’s just with her style of music you have to evolve…. otherwise it gets really BORING and as far as i can tell she is fallllllling to crapp music. it’s always the goddman anime that makes artists turn to crap? lol. well she did some song for bleach and then i think the 2nd time she did it, you knew she was just gone. she’s DEAD>
