Well you know 2 yrs ago or however long ago I decided to learn Japanese… I never thought I would get into enka. hell I thought i’d never touch a jidai geki drama either. nor did i think i would ever get into manzai. But you know I gots to say enka is some good shit. It takes real talent and I love the kobushi~~~ Another part of enka is all the instruments and the arrangements are just really well-done.
Anyways I’ll share the enka/enka singers that I really like.
From this video I like the first song alot. Black guy is Jero and little girl is sakura maya. I really think that girl is talented & she’s so CUTE. Just this song is so cute with the two of them. Like the part jero sings kodomo mitai ni wagamama ieru or omae ga totemo kawaii.
sakura maya singing a jpop song. I like her version more b.c. of the kobushi she put in & the no more cry part. i think the original is sang by ayaka. i just realized that’s the girl that mizushima hiro married… then i guess she (ayaka)’s pretty famous actually cause of this song.
so anyways watanabe naomi did ayaka’s song and at the time i didn’t know that song at the time… Now I totally get it and yes ayaka’s hand movement’s are annoying . loved the touhoushinki thing. hilarious!!!
ishikawa sayuri!! I love this song… I heard the chinese version too and well it sounds like the same — the way they sing it and everything except it’s in chinese..
ai no mama de by akimoto junko. I actually found about this song b.c. it was ranked high in the top karaoked songs. (ther was some show on that.. the girl from ikimono gakari sang it & it made me more sad that ikimono gakari is dead with the soulless songs)
So on the top karaoked song show the ikimono gakari girl sang it really well like she used some kobushi.. I don’t know where that youtube clip is… probably deletd.
